Product Description

Grow beautiful and bountiful pumpkins with our high-quality pumpkin seedlings! We offer two popular varieties: Tsunami and Gold. Each tray contains 100 healthy seedlings, ready to be transplanted into your garden.

Pumpkin planting typically occurs from May/June to February/March. Here's a basic guide to get you started:

Land Preparation:

  1. Sun Exposure: Choose a location in your open field with full sunlight.
  2. Raised Beds: Create raised beds 80-90 cm wide and 15 cm tall, with a 3-meter spacing between each bed.
  3. Soil pH Adjustment: Conduct a soil test and add lime or dolomite as needed to achieve the optimal pH level for pumpkin growth.
  4. Organic Matter: Enrich your beds by applying 50-100 kg/cent of organic manure.
  5. Irrigation System: Set up a drip irrigation line and cover the beds with plastic mulch (1 meter width) after planting.

Planting:

  1. Seedling Age: After 15-20 days of germination (when they have 2-4 leaves), transplant your seedlings directly into the prepared beds.
  2. Spacing: Plant seedlings in a single row, maintaining a spacing of 1 meter between each plant.

Aftercare:

  • Watering: During dry weather, provide water using a sprayer at a rate of 1-1.5 liters per plant per day.
  • Fertilization: Follow a recommended fertilizer schedule and begin applying fertilizers 3 days after planting.
  • Pest & Disease Control: Keep an eye out for common pumpkin problems like leaf miners, leaf-feeding beetles, fruit flies, leaf spots, powdery mildew, and viruses. Take appropriate control measures if necessary.

By following these simple steps, you'll be well on your way to growing a thriving pumpkin patch! Order your Tsunami or Gold pumpkin seedlings today and get ready to harvest delicious pumpkins in the coming months.
